Privacy Policy & Website Terms

Effective date: June 1st, 2026

This Privacy Policy and Website Terms notice explains how Dhoganmedia (“Dhoganmedia,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information submitted through www.dhoganmedia.com (the “Site”) and sets the rules for using the Site and its photographs, videos, text, graphics, logos, and other content. By accessing or using the Site, you acknowledge this notice and agree to these Website Terms.

Privacy Policy

1. Information we collect

We may collect information you choose to provide, including your name, email address, message, event or project details, preferred dates, and other information you submit through a contact, inquiry, booking, questionnaire, contract, gallery, or similar form. If you become a client, additional information may be collected as reasonably necessary to plan, provide, bill for, and deliver photography or videography services.

The Site and its service providers may also automatically collect technical and usage information such as IP address, browser and device type, operating system, referring pages, pages viewed, approximate location derived from IP address, and dates and times of visits. Cookies and similar technologies may be used for essential site functions, preferences, analytics, security, and—if enabled—advertising or social-media features.

2. How we use information

We may use information to respond to inquiries; communicate about projects and services; prepare quotes, contracts, invoices, bookings, and galleries; provide and improve services; operate, secure, troubleshoot, and analyze the Site; maintain business and tax records; prevent fraud or misuse; comply with law; and protect our rights, clients, visitors, and business.

3. When information may be shared

We may share information only as reasonably necessary with vendors that help operate the business, such as website hosting and gallery providers (including Pixieset), email, scheduling, contract, payment, file-delivery, analytics, security, and professional-service providers. Those providers handle information under their own terms and privacy practices. Information may also be disclosed when required by law, legal process, or a valid government request; to investigate fraud, infringement, threats, or misuse; to protect legal rights or safety; or in connection with a business sale, reorganization, or transfer. We do not sell personal information in exchange for money.

4. Cookies, analytics, and third-party features

Cookies are small files used to keep sites working and remember or understand visitor activity. Your browser may let you block or delete cookies, although some features may not work correctly. Where a consent banner or preference tool is available, you can use it to manage non-essential cookies. Embedded content, social-media links, analytics tools, and other third-party features may collect information under their own privacy policies.

5. Data retention and security

Information is retained only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above, including client service, recordkeeping, dispute resolution, security, and legal or tax obligations. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no website, transmission, or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.

6. Your choices and privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a copy of certain personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. You may also withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. To make a request, use the Contact page. We may need to verify your identity and may retain information when permitted or required by law. You can opt out of marketing emails through the unsubscribe link in those emails, if applicable; service-related communications may still be sent.

7. Children’s privacy

The Site is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13 through the Site. Parents or guardians who believe a child provided information may contact us to request review or deletion.

8. External websites

The Site may link to third-party websites, galleries, social networks, payment services, or platforms. We do not control and are not responsible for their content, security, or privacy practices. Review their policies before providing information.

Website Terms and Protection of Creative Work

9. Copyright and ownership

Unless expressly stated otherwise, all photographs, videos, films, edits, color treatments, text, graphics, logos, page designs, compilations, and other original content displayed on the Site are owned by or licensed to Dhoganmedia and are protected by United States and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual-property laws. Copyright in an original photograph generally exists from the moment it is created. © 2026 Dhoganmedia. All rights reserved.

10. No unauthorized use

You may view the Site for personal, noncommercial evaluation of our services. No other license is granted. Without prior written permission, you may not download, copy, screenshot, screen-record, reproduce, republish, post, transmit, distribute, sell, sublicense, display, perform, crop, edit, retouch, apply filters to, create derivative works from, or otherwise use Site content. You may not remove or alter a copyright notice, watermark, credit, signature, caption, metadata, or other rights-management information.

Site content may not be used in advertising, publications, products, templates, mood boards distributed to others, social-media accounts, portfolios, contests, stock libraries, datasets, facial-recognition systems, or artificial-intelligence or machine-learning training, fine-tuning, evaluation, prompting, generation, or data-mining workflows without our express written permission.

11. Client images and licenses

Booking or paying for photography or videography services does not by itself transfer copyright or ownership of the resulting creative work. Any client permission to print, share, post, or otherwise use delivered work is limited to the written license in the applicable client agreement, invoice, release, or gallery terms. Those written terms control if they differ from this page. No rights are granted by implication, estoppel, or mere access to a gallery or file.

A person appearing in an image does not automatically own the copyright in that image. Use of client likenesses by Dhoganmedia remains subject to applicable law and any written contract or model release.

12. Permission and licensing requests

For commercial use, publication, reposting, editorial use, vendor use, portfolio use, or any other license, request written permission through the Contact page before using the work. Permission is valid only when provided in writing by Dhoganmedia and may require a license fee, credit, usage limits, and other conditions. Linking to a publicly available page is permitted as long as the link does not falsely imply endorsement and does not reproduce the protected content.

13. Prohibited conduct

You may not scrape, crawl, harvest, frame, mirror, archive, or systematically download Site content; use bots or automated tools to extract images or data; bypass passwords, access controls, watermarks, download restrictions, robots directives, or other protections; probe or interfere with Site security or operation; introduce malicious code; impersonate Dhoganmedia; or use the Site in a way that violates law or another person’s rights.

14. Infringement and enforcement

Unauthorized use may violate copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, contract, or other laws. We reserve all available rights and remedies, including requests for removal, platform takedown notices, preservation of evidence, license fees, injunctive relief, damages, costs, and—where allowed—attorneys’ fees. Failure to enforce a provision once does not waive the right to enforce it later.

15. Site information and separate client agreements

Portfolio examples, availability, pricing, packages, timelines, and other Site information may change and do not create a binding service agreement. Photography and videography services are governed by a separate written contract. If that contract conflicts with these Website Terms as to a client project, the signed contract controls for that project.

16. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Site is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties concerning the Site, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, availability, and error-free operation. We are not responsible for third-party sites or services. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Dhoganmedia will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from use of or inability to use the Site. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.

17. Changes and severability

We may update this page to reflect changes in law, technology, services, or business practices. The effective date above will be revised when material changes are posted. Continued use of the Site after an update means the updated Website Terms apply. If a provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to the fullest extent permitted by law.

18. Contact

For privacy requests, licensing inquiries, permission requests, or questions about this page, use the Dhoganmedia Contact page.
